Toronto baby photographer Toronto and Cobourg maternity photographerWorking on this sweet studio maternity photo session has been an absolute joy. There is something very special about watching a mama-to-be interact with her beautiful baby bump. Contrary to popular belief, a maternity session doesn’t have to be all dolled up or super fancy. In fact the sweet simplicity of a minimalist style like this helps to accentuate what really matters — the incomparable bond between mother and child — in a way that will never look dated or old-fashioned. On a side note, how wonderful is it that photos take on a whole new look when properly framed and matted (keeping in mind, of course, that the watermark would not be present on the actual frame)?

Toronto baby photographerWhat a lovely time I had working with this little man and his lovely parents last month! He was all smiles and giggles for the camera and kept wowing me with those dazzling baby blues! His parents requested a clean, crisp, minimalist photo session and these darling striped overalls really made it!

Toronto wedding photographer Toronto wedding photographerAre you in a jam for Valentine’s Day this year? Then consider this fine art Romantic Rose print. It is a flower that never wilts and doesn’t need watering. Pen a sentimental little something on the back, pop it into a beautiful frame and you are good to go! This pretty little petaled 5×7 print comes in a gorgeous crisp white mat that fits seamlessly into any 8×10 frame! You can order yours here if you’re interested!

More and more modern couples are opting out of the traditional engagement photo session because they don’t love the idea of ‘posing’ in front of the camera to announce their upcoming nuptials.

What I most often hear from clients is that they a) don’t really want that many photographs of just themselves b) they aren’t doing save the date cards or c) that they would rather have photographs of another occasion surrounding their upcoming wedding.

So, LLB Creative has cooked up three fantastic alternative shoot ideas to book in lieu of an engagement session.

Consider this – most brides-to-be spend up to an entire year getting into the best shape of their lives for the big day. You work really hard so that the gorgeous dress fits just right and looks absolutely spectacular when you walk down the aisle. So why not celebrate what you’ve worked for with an intimate, yet elegant boudoir session that shows off your radiant bride-to-be time of life?

LLB Creative has teamed up with Luxette Lingerie to create a stunning glamour/boudoir photography package that guarantees final photos that look like they came from a magazine while celebrating the true you! Our all female team offers professional hair and makeup, professional styling and the comfort of a private, welcoming studio.

We have an in-person consultation before your shoot so that we are sure to capture exactly what you are looking for. And ALL photographs that identify your person are kept completely offline! This means that your intimate moments remain just that – yours!

A glamour session can be as dressed up or as dressed down as you’d like. We can do super glam or very casual — you set the tone and style! Regardless of which approach you would like to take, we will create a custom experience that suits you to perfection! Have questions? Don’t be shy! Just zip us an email and ask!

Think of how beautiful the last bridal shower you went to was. There were probably pretty flowers, stylish decor and a fabulous cake, not to mention all of your friends a little bit dressed up for the occasion. Maybe it was a carefree picnic with loved ones or perhaps a lively cocktail party?

Choosing to have your bridal shower professionally photographed is a fantastic way to do two things. Firstly, it captures lovely lifestyle shots in a very organic and genuine manner that you can cherish forever – after all, your grandmother did spend weeks planning and making your shower cake from scratch. Secondly, it is a fantastic way to introduce some of your wedding guests to your photographer, which will ultimately help them to relax on your big day when flashes are going off here there and everywhere. Isn’t it always nice to see a friendly face?

A lot of great moments happen at a bridal shower, it’s a shame not to document them in a beautiful manner. No bridal shower? Then consider having a photographer document your visit to a bridal shop, engagement party or rehearsal dinner!

Of course on your wedding day we will be sure to shoot some memorable (and fashionable!) bridal portraits of you and your better half dressed up to the nines. But for those couples who are feeling a bit adventurous a post-wedding fashion shoot (either in studio or on location) can be an incredible way to create a very magazine-esque look that will wow your family for generations to come.

This concept is very similar to ‘trash the dress’ except we don’t trash the dress (unless, of course, you want to!) With years of experience shooting fashion lookbooks and pieces for various publications, LLB Creative knows how to handle expensive garments with care while getting an unbelievable shot. We will cook up a really cool concept for you, hair and makeup is once again provided and then off we go for your very own magazine quality photo shoot!

An engagement session package can be swapped out for any of these alternative photo shoot options or added on to any existing LLB Creative wedding package! The possibilities are truly endless to help you get the wedding photography coverage that will suit you and your finance best!
