The incredible engagement shoot started off as a leisurely stroll through a park setting. But then you realize that your couple took dance classes and that the bride-to-be danced ballet for nearly 12 years! So naturally we had to incorporate some fantastic twirls, dips and movement into their session! Believe it or not this is just a small sneak peek from this Toronto engagement shoot — I cannot wait to share more!
The 2016 wedding season is off to a gorgeous start! This past weekend I joined this beautiful couple in the picturesque Trent Hills landscape of rolling rustic landscape and luscious forest to capture their heart-warming country wedding celebration! You have to love a bride who is happy to kick off her heels and dance in a field. This entire day was bursting with love and laughter and I cannot wait to share more! Wishing these lovebirds all the happiness and joy in the world!
Oh how I adore when couples dance in the streets on their wedding day. To me it is the ultimate expression of joy, because it doesn’t matter who is walking by or who is watching. All that matters is that their vows have been exchanged and the next exciting chapter of their lives has begun!
What I love most about capturing bride and groom portraits (in a fun and relaxed manner) is that literally everything is a sweet blissful moment. Take this scene for example. While walking around downtown Toronto and creating dramatic couple portraits framed by bustling traffic and towering skyscrapers, we stopped for a brief rest at a small unassuming patio. Bam! A beautiful moment unfolded and I was lucky enough to be lingering nearby with my camera!
I love experimenting with creative wedding ring photographs. After all a great deal of time, care and money goes into choosing the perfect rings! It only seems fitting to photograph them in a memorable and unique way that complements each couple’s individual style!
Time to catch up on blogging some of the beautiful weddings I had the pleasure of photographing this year! Here is a dreamy sequence of a lovely bride getting ready before her walk down the aisle. This room, that dress, this light — I could have photographed this scene for hours!
You know you’re doing the right thing in life when your heart swells as you work. Putting the finishing touches on a beautiful wedding collection that has happy tears prickling my eyes as I revisit these exquisitely joyful moments.
I spent a beautiful weekend in Halliburton, Ontario capturing a very sweet wedding against the stunning Canadian fall landscape. Here is a little sneak peek of this beautiful, relaxed and lively celebration! More to come!
A little fashion for your Friday! Here is one of the gorgeous lingerie looks from a lookbook shoot I had the pleasure of creating earlier this year. How incredible is this intricately laced robe? It is jaw-dropping and I couldn’t stop ‘ooh-ing’ and ‘ahh-ing’ while capturing this exquisite garment. It would be perfect for a bridal occasion or a tropical vacation!
I love to capture special moments between a bride and her mother on the big day. Of course there are lots of hugs, happy tears and laughter to capture between the two, but whenever possible I love to sneak a shot of the new bride’s wedding ring with her mother’s wedding ring. There is something about seeing the jewelry of different generations that is so sweet and moving. It’s one of my favourite mother-daughter shots!
Capturing this elegant bridal party in downtown Toronto was a tremendous treat! The lovely bride and groom requested a sharp, crisp and modern aesthetic set against the bustling urban Toronto background. I love how these portraits turned out and every time I look at them I think of the glamorous cast of FRIENDS, don’t you?
When love moves you, always always always dance in the streets on your wedding day. This scene from a beautiful downtown Toronto bride and groom portrait session. Of course, I am still trying to decide if I prefer the black and white finish or the colour option.
This lovely couple visited LLB Creative’s studio in downtown Toronto seeking a modern and formal engagement session. So we set to work to create a style that reflected the editorialized pages of a magazine, while still capturing a genuine sense of fun and love.
