One of my favourite wedding day moments is the couple’s traditional first dance. The ceremony is complete, the guests have arrived, dinner is over and all that is left to do is relax in one another’s arms, gently swaying to a song that holds a secret sentimental meaning. You can see the busy nature of the day fall away as everyone gets ready for the evening party to begin. From the way the couple embraces, to his hand gently resting on her lower back, to the soft tears of joy on her face hidden against his chest — there are a million priceless moments within a single dance if you look closely. This shot is from a beautiful celebration captured at the breathtaking Viamede Resort in the Kawarthas last weekend. So much more to come.
Last weekend I joined this beautiful couple at Spencer’s at the Waterfront in Burlington to celebrate their vows. This little sneak peek was captured in front of a cheerful waterfall installation — the perfect way to cool off for a moment and create something special. More from this gorgeous wedding (and more of that spectacular veil!) coming soon!
Warm, intimate and romantic are the three words that come to mind when I reflect upon this beautiful wedding celebration that I had the pleasure of documenting a couple of weeks ago. This beautiful couple celebrated with loved ones at Brassaii Restaurant and Lounge in downtown Toronto — a really beautiful venue with lots of urban charm and details. More from this lovely evening coming soon!
A few moments from a spectacular wedding ceremony held in The Rosewater Room in downtown Toronto. The Rosewater Room is a stunning venue and it was such a delight to work in! Wishing the lovely couple all the best!
Little ones like to run around, explore, play and get a little hyper — all toddler qualities that LLB Creative photo sessions capture to provide families with genuine interactive moments to cherish forever. This little boy had a blast chasing around the park and keeping his lovely mama on her toes!
Be still my heart! These cutie pies came out for a fun mini family session and their lovely mum really wanted their special bond captured. This is one of the adorable results and one of my new favourite LLB Creative images.
A few weekends ago I had the enormous pleasure of working with LoraLayne Photography as her second shooter and together we captured a gorgeous downtown Toronto wedding. My job was to shadow the groom and his groomsmen from getting ready to arriving at the venue. Here are a few of the shots I took that day. More to come!
Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful dads and father figures out there! This is a little sneak peek from a recent family session that was filled with giggles, dancing, funny faces and lots of love. More to come next week! Be sure to spoil those dads everyone!
Studio maternity sessions are always a sweet experience with LLB Creative. I work really hard to keep sessions intimate, relaxed and stylish in a genuine manner that will not date as your little baby grows up. I strive to create maternity images that will instantly bring back a flood of feeling whenever you look back on them; images that make you feel the love, excitement and anticipation of meeting your family’s newest addition.
Another little teaser from a recent wedding. I absolutely adored working with this couple. Even though it was raining on their big day they embraced the weather and their profound focus on each other translated to beautifully relaxed photographs. Now a question for you all — which finish do you prefer? The colour or the black and white? More on its way soon! (And in case you missed it, here is another sneak peek at this wedding!)
Pregnancy is a time of life that should absolutely be documented in a beautiful and artistic manner. However, the number one thing I hear from mamas-to-be time and time again is that they aren’t entirely comfortable in their changing bodies and as a result they don’t feel comfortable investing in a professional photo session capturing their lovely baby bumps. LLB Creative wanted to create an opportunity for mamas-to-be to indulge in a maternity photo session without breaking the bank, so we are delighted to announce our first ever Maternity Mini Sessions!
HOW IT WORKS
This offer is available for purchase until July 10th, 2015 but can be used anytime before November 30th 2015 so that the baby bump can be captured at its curviest. Plus this makes a Maternity Mini Session an ideal baby shower gift if you have a friend who is expecting!

There are only a limited number of Maternity Mini Sessions available and they will be booked on a first come first served basis.
This lovely couple visited LLB Creative’s studio in downtown Toronto seeking a modern and formal engagement session. So we set to work to create a style that reflected the editorialized pages of a magazine, while still capturing a genuine sense of fun and love.
Here is a little teaser of a wedding I had the enormous pleasure of capturing a couple of weeks ago. It was an absolutely incredible day. We laughed, we cried, we danced and we braved the some particularly tricky weather. So much more from this wonderful and lovely day coming soon! I can’t wait to share the rest of this lively celebration!
One of my favourite things about working as a wedding photographer (besides spending time with some truly awesome people!) is having the opportunity to see some spectacular jewelery up close and personal. This is a particularly breathtaking piece of bridal bling. Enjoy the view!
