In other words, working as a Toronto dog photography studio definitely has its perks. In addition to cuteness there are lots of puppy snuggles too! This is why we adore hosting Toronto family mini sessions that are dog-friendly every year! Here are some of the results if you’d like to see. (more…)
For our debut Toronto Valentine’s Day Mini Sessions we’re focusing on the truest of loves, which can only mean beautiful portraits of you and your dog bestie together! (We’re right, right? Our dogs are the truest of loves.)
Gooseberry’s Valentine’s Day Mini Photo Sessions are designed to be nothing but fun for pups and their people — we keep the studio calm and peaceful, we have lots of treats on hand, we shoot gently to ensure dogs are comfortable every step of the way and we guarantee heartfelt images for your final collection. Every December (for the fourth year in a row now) I pack up my portable studio set up and travel to run a Holiday Themed Dog Portrait Photobooth to raise money for the wonderful Sit With Me Rescue. This organization works tirelessly to help dogs in need from all walks of life and it is truly a pleasure to be able to give back in some small way to a cause that is near and dear to my heart. This year I opted for a festive Tiffany blue background. A bit of artificial snow on the ground and a gorgeous custom-crafted white fire hydrant by my lovely friend and assistant Sondra, and we were ready for some holly jolly fun! Here’s a little peak at some of the results if you’re interested! (more…)
As you may know, I adore dogs! Like really really adore them! (After all, I run an entire Instagram feed devoted entirely to dog photography!) In my opinion dogs make the world a better, more friendly place and my heart always grows two sizes when people book a photo session to celebrate their best furry friend!
This little fluffball is Austin the Yorkie — a little Instagram star in his own right! His mama brought him out for a special photoshoot to celebrate his 10th year! We truffled around in the leaves, watched joggers run by, had lots of snuggles and gobbled up tasty meatballs! I am so grateful to be able to help people celebrate their canine companions. The results are always really special moments! (more…)
Photographing dogs is always a dream. I’m a dog nerd through and through and deeply passionate about animal rescue, so when TEAM Dog Rescue asked me to run a fall photobooth to help raise money for their amazing rescue work, I jumped at the chance! Darling pupsters of all shapes and sizes came out for a pretty portrait in the fall colours. These are a few of the furry friends who came out for the photo fun! (more…)
In case you didn’t know I adore animals. So whenever a family asks, “Can we bring our furbaby along to our shoot?” the answer is always a huge resounding YES! This lovely family of five came out this weekend for a morning photo session. We played with their cute pupster, we searched for acorns, we pretended to be dinosaurs and laughed our heads off! Nothing beats a genuine family photo session that is bursting with emotion and giggles! (more…)
Puppy photo sessions are beyond precious. Capturing those earliest moments when pup and person are getting to know each other, documenting those teeny tiny paws, ears and whiskers at their littlest, and soaking up those goofy puppy moments is such a pleasure. This wee sheltie pup and his mama are almost too cute for words!
The sixth edition of Pawsh Magazine “Furry Fancy” was released a couple of weeks ago and it was a thrill to be able to include this photoshoot, featuring a rescue dog. The concept of the shoot was to show how beautiful street dogs really are if one stops to truly see them. Please adopt if you are thinking of adding a dog to your family and please visit the new Pawsh here.
A small outtake from an editorial photoshoot I did recently for PAWSH Magazine No.6, called “That Fuzzy Feeling.” Be sure to take a peek at the new PAWSH cover here! More from this photo session very soon!
